Debt’s gone (for a few years now), but I still pay with cash almost everywhere and I always create a budget, each month. Good money habits and constant self discipline help a lot when it comes to avoiding any type of debt.

I was considering doing a balance transfer for my husban's car loan a few weeks ago, but we realized he's got just under $2,000 to pay and he's only being charged like $5-6 per month in interest so we'd rather just keep doing what we've been doing and knock that out.

Getting a balance transfer credit card was the best thing that I could have ever done.It’s allowed me to pay off one credit in December. My last credit card should be paid off in two weeks. I’m excited.

I never understood why anyone would open a credit card with an annual fee. Sure, maybe they can get more in rewards that way, but the whole idea of paying for a cc is not appealing to me! Great post!
